Background
ㅤDJANITHRAㅤ, more familiar by the moniker DJ, came from a family of five comprising of a construction company slash businessman (father, 1960), an art professor (mother, 1969), an entertainer (younger sister, 1995), and a fashion student (younger sister, 2000). His father is a Chinese-Indonesian and his mother is a Javanese with Japanese descent.Originally, his father wanted him to become the successor of his company, though the later years showed DJ's outstanding development in the arts department. When the boy told his parents that he would become the greatest filmmaker that Tanah Air would have in the future, his father strongly opposed and told him to stop dreaming. And yet, the boy fought, fiercely, for his dream. It earned him a yes (with many conditions) from his father and he then set off for University of Cambridge to pursue his passion.
